This Privacy Policy explains how MigrainePal ("the app", "we", "our") handles your information. We built MigrainePal around a simple principle: your health data belongs to you and stays on your device.
MigrainePal stores the information you choose to enter, including:
All of the above is stored exclusively in the app's local database on your device. We have no access to it, and it is never sent to us or any third party.
If you enable reminders, MigrainePal schedules local notifications directly on your device using Apple's notification framework. This does not involve sending your data anywhere — scheduling happens entirely on-device.
When you generate a PDF summary of your attack history, that PDF is created locally on your device. Sharing it (for example, via Messages, Mail, or AirDrop) is entirely your choice and under your control through Apple's native share sheet — we are not involved in that transfer and do not receive a copy.
MigrainePal offers optional premium features via auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time purchase, processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We do not collect or see your payment details — that information is handled by Apple according to Apple's own privacy practices. We only receive confirmation of your entitlement status (i.e., whether you have an active purchase), not any payment or billing information.
Because everything is stored locally, you are always in control of your data:
Since we never receive or store your data on any server, there is no separate "delete my account" request to make with us — deleting the app accomplishes this directly.
MigrainePal is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 17.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
